Zographos architects + engineers was established in Symi, in 2004 by architect Dimitris Zographos in collaboration with specialized professionals.

 

Our aim is the preservation of existing dwellings and the design and construction of new structures to meet modern living standards with respect to the township.

 

New building techniques and the use of new technology incorporate local knowledge and traditional materials.

 

Zographos architects + engineers provides real estate assistance, architectural design, "turnkey" construction services and all required bureaucratic procedures.

Located in the Dodecanese Islands of the Aegean sea Symi is known for its natural beauty and spectacular town, ranked a national historical monument for Greek architecture.

 

The town of Symi, inhabited by around 25,000 people at the turn of the 19th Century, is composed of a mixture of various architectural typologies found throughout the Aegean. Structures juxtaposed in harmony with the amphitheatrical landscape create a unique whole.
